InquiSight records real people talking about real behaviour. That's a responsibility we design around — here's how participant and client data is handled across a study's life.
Participant consent comes first
Participants are informed before any interview that the session is recorded and how the recording will be used.
Interviews proceed only after consent; participants can stop a session at any point.
Recordings are used solely to deliver the research study they were collected for.
How study data is protected
All data moves over encrypted connections (TLS) — the platform is served exclusively over HTTPS.
Access to interview recordings and analysis is restricted to the client team the study belongs to.
Client study data is never shared with other clients, and never used in another client's deliverables.
Retention and deletion
Study data is retained so your searchable intelligence layer keeps working across studies.
Clients can request deletion of a study's recordings and derived data; we honour deletion requests for participant data.
When an engagement ends, data disposition follows the terms agreed in your contract.
Regulatory alignment
InquiSight operates its consent, purpose-limitation, and deletion practices in line with the principles of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023 — informed consent, collection limited to the research purpose, and honouring participants' rights over their data. For studies involving participants outside India, we work with clients to meet the requirements that apply to their fieldwork.
Have a security questionnaire or a specific requirement? Enterprise procurement teams can write to raunak.kochar@getinquisight.tech — we'll walk through data flows, storage, and contractual terms (DPAs, NDAs) for your study.
